EMERGENCY DOOR OPENING DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD AND COMPENSATION CONDITIONS
In cases where the client is unable to open the door (e.g., due to a stuck lock or mechanism), the company “Eirodurvis” provides free door opening and replacement of defective parts during the warranty period, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, every day except public holidays. This service is provided only if a manufacturing defect is confirmed and a valid warranty certificate is presented.

If the warranty has expired, all related work will be performed for a fee, and the costs must be agreed upon directly with the technician.
Important!
The emergency opening warranty is valid only if the door was installed by SIA Eirodurvis.
If the door was purchased or installed by another company, the emergency opening is not considered a free warranty service. In such cases, the service will be provided as a paid service, and the cost must be confirmed directly with the technician before the work is carried out.
‼ It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the availability of the warranty certificate during emergency door opening. If the warranty certificate is located behind the locked door (in the property where the emergency opening is required), it must be presented immediately after the door is opened for the service to be classified as free warranty service.
If the warranty certificate is located elsewhere (e.g., in another property or with another family member), the client must ensure it is available and presented to the technician at the time of door opening. Otherwise, the service will not be considered warranty service, and a fee will be applied based on an individually determined rate.
If it is determined that the door mechanism damage was caused by the client, for example:
- Dust from construction or renovation work found in the lock,
- Foreign objects in the lock (e.g., matches, glue),
- Mechanical damage not covered by the warranty,
then the door opening and repair will be performed only for a fee.
If the door becomes inoperable outside of “Eirodurvis” working hours, the client may contact an independent locksmith service. If it is later confirmed that the damage was due to a manufacturing defect, the client may be eligible for partial compensation. The maximum compensation amount is €70, determined individually based on submitted evidence.
To apply for compensation, the following must be submitted:
- Purchase document (receipt or invoice) from the independent service with specified details.
- Official report from the service provider with a precise description of the damage.
- Photographs showing the situation before and after the opening, as well as clearly visible damaged components.
Important: If the documents are not submitted or the warranty certificate is not presented, compensation will not be granted, and the service will be considered a paid service.
